| Dr. Brus came to Virginia from Davenport, Iowa, the
birthplace of chiropractic. She was born and raised there and decided at a
young age to become a chiropractor. She wanted to help people naturally to
realize their full potential. Dr. Brus worked in the Palmer College of
Chiropractic Clinics throughout her senior year of high school and her
undergraduate studies. "I learned a great deal from the faculty,
clinicians and staff during my time there and it made me work harder to
fulfill my dream of becoming a chiropractor."
Dr. Brus graduated from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa in 2004
with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and headed to Palmer College of
Chiropractic in March of 2005.
"While I was in school, I learned even more about helping people realize
their full health potential without the use of drugs or surgery. Toward the
end of my time at Palmer, I became familiar with Chiropractic Centers of
Virginia (CCVA) and their vision of Clinical Excellence meeting Patient
Satisfaction. I came to Virginia to interview with CCVA and I decided that I
did not want to practice anywhere else."
In March of 2008, Dr. Brus began an internship with Dr. Nicole L. Hatt
and began familiarizing herself with the Harbour Pointe office’s daily
routines. She graduated summa cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic
on June 13, 2008. She began working as a full time chiropractor in the
Harbour Pointe Chiropractic and Wellness Center in July 2008.
"I am very excited to be a part of the CCVA family and help to spread the
word about chiropractic to the people of Richmond."
