Dr. McLelland's Chiropractic Story:
"My initial interest in Chiropractic started in 1986 when a close
friend of mine told me about his personal experience with Chiropractic and
his subsequent decision to attend Chiropractic College. He ultimately
introduced me to his chiropractor in El Paso, Texas. This doctor allowed me
to visit and observe his practice, receive care, and watch patients respond
to care. He explained the fundamental aspects of Chiropractic care to me. I
must say it was one of the most enlightening and exciting experiences of my
life. The logic and science behind this healing profession was something I
had never been exposed to. This introduction sparked my interests. I was so
excited about the profession and desired to be a chiropractor so much that
before I was ever even accepted, I packed my little 2 door car with all of
my belongings and drove to Davenport, Iowa, home of Palmer Chiropractic
University. I had already been in college for four years, and had taken most
of the pre-requisite classes such as anatomy, physics, chemistry, and
biology. I figured I would just go and get in, whatever it took."
"The curriculum was very demanding at Palmer, but the rewards have
been a blessing. Every day I get to go to my office and help people get
well. The profound impact Chiropractic care has on the lives of so many is
remarkable to me. I am grateful for the opportunity to help patients every
day."
