Insurance 101 (Picture) As a courtesy to our patients, we file their health insurance claims. In order to assure as smooth a process as possible, it essential that you follow each of these steps before making your first appointment in our office:

 

1 Find out if we are in-network providers for your health insurance by clicking Are We Providers.
2 If you see your health insurance company on the list, click on their web-site or call the "member services" phone number listed on your insurance card.
3 Find out what your Chiropractic benefits are, either on-line or by phone. Ask them specifically, "What are my Chiropractic benefits?"
4 Ask if you need a referral from your primary care doctor. (Skip to step 5 if you do not need a referral). If you need a referral, you must first call your primary care doctor to see what the procedure is in their office for obtaining a referral to see a specialist. For those patients with insurance policies requiring a referral, we must receive the referral in our office before the first visit. As soon as we receive the referral, you may be seen in our office.
