"For the first twenty-three years of my life, I resided in a quiet little
town in Michigan, called Hillsdale. After graduating from Hillsdale High, I
spent three years studying science at Jackson Community College. From there,
I transferred to Spring Arbor University where I studied literature for a
year. I moved to Richmond about a year and a half ago and was introduced to
the southern way of life. Thanks to the welcoming, warm people that I have
met and have grown to love here, the transition was a breeze." "In high
school and during college, I worked seven and a half years in customer
service and got the experience I needed to interact in a fast-paced society.
Once settled in the quaint town of Chester, the opportunity arose for me to
enter the health care industry. I have long known the benefit of holistic
care from having a chiropractor as my only sibling. So I seized my chance
and became a part of the CCVA family."
"When I was younger, around eighteen, I had a very physical job. I
routinely lifted items that were anywhere from forty to seventy pounds every
day. I was also on my feet for ten hours a day. I had gradually acquired
what was later described as an over-use injury to my neck. I hadn't noticed
there was a problem until I felt the first symptoms. It started when I would
wake up in the morning with numb hands. Then these symptoms eventually
occurred when I was driving. Finally, the worst of my discomfort came when
my hands began waking me up at night every hour, throbbing and burning. If
things had kept progressing, I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to sleep at
all. So I made my first appointment at the chiropractor. A few weeks later I
was completely pain free and able to sleep again! Chiropractic has
positively changed my life and it's great to see those same changes take
place in the lives of others every day." |
